Louise O'Connor was married to William O'Connor. They had three children. Firefighter O'Connor was assigned to Ladder 156 and was a Probationary Firefighter who was killed in the Waldbaums Fire on August 2, 1978. The son Billy, is a NYC Police Officer, Lisa, is a paralegal and Jeanne Marie, is a schoolteacher. She also has 4 grandsons and two granddaughters. Louise is currently working at Holy Name Church in Brooklyn. SInce 9/11 she has been helping the Counseling Unit by going to support meetings and helping out with new widows who have lost a loved one.
